Community Planner for Land Use and Urban Design. I specialize in land use planning, zoning, and urban design projects. My role involves conducting advanced research and performing quantitative, qualitative, and spatial analysis to support projects such as housing plans, zoning updates, and long-range planning initiatives. I gather and analyze complex datasets to create clear, actionable reports that inform decision-making. Additionally, I process community engagement results methodically, transforming input into comprehensive insights that guide project outcomes. Collaborating closely with teams and communities, I develop equitable, data-driven strategies to promote sustainable growth and resilient urban environments.

Research Assistant. I was part of the MIT Enhancing Water Affordability Project, which seeks to understand the nature of water poverty in U.S. cities, examine potential local-level policy responses, and explore how federal programming might support utilities and households in need. I used RStudio to perform regressions, correlations, and hotspot leaflet maps to analyze the water provision and Customer Assistance Programs in US Cities and explore the spatial and demographic character of urban neighborhoods hardest hit by water affordability challenges.

I supported multidisciplinary teams in the development and compilation of Urban Development Plans and post-disaster urban plans for northern Peru under the Reconstruction With Changes (RCC) policy framework. In this role, I quickly familiarized myself with Peruvian urban planning regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in project documentation. This experience allowed me to rapidly develop key planning skills while contributing to impactful projects aimed at rebuilding and strengthening communities.
